"The property is very well maintained, with great attention to detail and service.
The rooms with a view has a genuinely fantastic view of the Dhauladhar Range, especially room 405 and the ones next to it.
The food was also great in taste and quality. The breakfast menu is limited but great in taste. "

"Stayed at this hotel on Temple Road, McLeod Ganj in January end 2026 and honestly had a very nice experience. Food was really good. The balcony view was amazing — you can see Dharamshala and snow-covered mountains, which felt super peaceful.
The place is calm and quiet but still very close to the main square and Dalai Lama Temple, so location is perfect.
Mrs Sonia at the reception was very welcoming and kind, made us feel comfortable right from the start.
Overall, a simple, peaceful stay...

"It's a great property with a great view, the food is expensive so I would recommend to opt for a Half Board meal plan. The food is tasy and staff is polite, helpful and hardworking.
The Ropeway to McLeodganj is about 10km away only.
It's a quiet property with great rooms.
If you go for balcony make sure avoid ground floor as balcony is better if not on the ground floor.

"The folks at the New Serkong House provided us with a warm welcome and peaceful stay before and after our 10 days at Tushita Meditation Center. We were grateful for their hospitality and appreciated their assistance and advice.
We especially enjoyed having a beverage on their cafe’s open balcony overlooking the valley as eagles soared by and the sun set over the mountains."
