"Located in a narrow alley. Cars will not be allowed to enter... You are welcomed by a slew of young guys hanging in the alley who will stare down any woman that passes by shamelessly. Sleazy front desk staff made inappropriate remarks during conversation. Rudely denied to honor any online booking stating he has closed online bookings since last 3 months. However, this hotel shows up on multiple websites. Said he can provide a room for 1200 rupees in cash only. This is not a safe place to stay...

"NIGHTMARE. In every way. Dirty, LOUD, uncomfortable, unsafe area. Room was dirty, no hot water, uncomfortable dirty linen bed, pathetic pillows. No dark-out drapes as advertised. Ceiling had a pulsing LED light throughout the night and loud ceiling fan. Room door key fob was broken to put key in room wall slot to start electricity, they told me to use a breaker box with switches on hallway wall to turn room power on. VERY old and beat/up building with ZERO quiet. Staff and their friends...

"We stayed 3 nights at the New Hindustan by Backpackers Heaven the price is right and the service is really nice. The best thing was to met Jahn who helped us plan our trip through India. He made really good suggestions and showed us what is possible. Without him we wouldn‘t experience India completly. Just for him, his positivity and his effort to give us the full experience of India I would stay there again. No regrets to choose this place at all"
